Chronic illness is no fun. If you're here, you already know that.

I’m Julia, and I've been living with chronic illness for more than a decade. This site is here to share the rants, resources, reviews, and ruminations I've created in my time as an angry invalid.

The Accidental Advocate

The Accidental Advocate

Great essay in the National Pain Report's "My Story" series today. Lelena Peacock's personal account of being contacted by so many others living with chronic pain strikes a chord. One of the positive aspects of social media is how people can use it to share stories and build communities.

The National Pain Report is a wonderful resource to everyone living with chronic or acute pain. Between sharing stories like Peacock's and summarizing current clinical research, they're doing a lot to spread knowledge on this vital topic.
