Chronic illness is no fun. If you're here, you already know that.

I’m Julia, and I've been living with chronic illness for more than a decade. My doctors are fantastic, my husband is beyond supportive, my friends are helpful and delightful, and it is still a struggle to get through every single day. This site is here to share the rants, resources, reviews, and ruminations I've created in my time as an angry invalid.

Digital Mutual Aid: The Huge, Responsibly Curated List of COVID-19 Resources You Didn't Know You Needed

Author and journalist Violet Blue, as part of her longtime commitment to harm reduction and digital transparency, has been publishing a detailed list of COVID-19 resources. Her most recent update is by far the most comprehensive one yet.

She has curated information on a wealth of topics, including masking and other strategies to avoid contracting the disease, as well as links to research and treatment options for people who currently have COVID-19, or who are living with the long-term impact of the virus.

One of the things I appreciate about her approach is how she includes a broad spectrum of ideas and perspectives and links directly to providers and high-quality research articles so that readers can draw their own conclusions and make their own plans accordingly. Blue refers to her work on COVID-19 as an “anti-gaslighting strategy,” which is desperately needed at a time when it is difficult to find accurate, evidence-backed information about this ongoing public health crisis.
